Ossi di Morti (Dead Man's Bones Cookies)

Ingredients:

     5 eggs
    2 t almond flavoring
    2 lbs powdered sugar
    4 c flour
    4 t baking powder
    1 t cinnamon
    1 c finely ground almonds

Directions:

    1.  Beat eggs until thick and frothy.  Add almond flavoring. Set aside.

    2.  In a separate bowl, blend all dry ingredients together.  Add eggs and beat until well mixed.

    3.  Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut at an angel into 2-inch pieces.

    4.  Let sit overnight before baking on a well-greased cookie sheet.

    5.  Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
